The Breath of Aeolus
Professor Leonardo Cumbo
Italy
Aeolus, the Greek god of the winds, is depicted as a child playfully blowing a soap bubble into the air. The upward thrust of the bubble is contained by three seemingly elasticated bands weighted down to the ground by stone blocks. They too seem to give in to the wind, lifting themselves a little from the ground.
