Composition 17

Part of a tree, a branch the essence of what a tree is, cut and shaped by hand, gently manipulated, exaggerated and repurposed into something new. you can still see they hold their natural shape in this new composition, this new form. Bound together as they are by the use of a simple connection reflecting the way a community is held together. A sense of belonging, an awareness of place and the simple act of being there for your neighbour. In this way we make the most of human connection and live up to the idea that we are better together.
